Following the rebuild of the far wall last year, this year has seen the rebuilding of the other three walls of the bottom green.
The old walls, which as far as we are able to determine were built about 30 years ago, were beginning to fail.
As you can see from the circled area, they were leaning in towards the green and would have eventually collapsed.
The walls have been completely rebuilt, with new footings, bricks and blocks.
The work, carried out by DMM Construction Ltd of Thornbury, has gone smoothly and as quickly as the weather would allow.
All that remains is for another band of willing helpers to return the chippings to the ditch and the artificial grass and bump strips to be put back.
